PENGEMBANGAN GAME EDUKASI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN MATERI ANATOMI TUBUH BAGI SISWA SD MENGGUNAKAN METODE RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
Abstract
In the current Covid-19 pandemic, people, especially children, really like an entertainment called games. The development of the game which is quite fast makes the game has its own charm so that anyone can play it. This makes the game not only used as entertainment but as a tool or media for learning, because the learning media used today are less fun and interesting so that students become bored and have difficulty understanding body anatomy material in Natural Science lessons. With this educational game, teaching and learning activities are practical and useful to improve understanding of the material, increase elementary school students' interest in learning in Natural Science lessons, especially body anatomy material and make it easier for teachers in the teaching and learning process and convey material. The purpose of this research is to develop interesting and fun educational games to motivate student learning and improve understanding of body anatomy material in Natural Science lessons for elementary school students. The method used in this research is the Research and Development method known as development. The stages in this research are the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Then black box testing and questionnaire testing were carried out by teachers and parents of students as respondents. The results obtained from this research are the creation of the Body Anatomy Educational Game which gets an average score of 4.3 in the Very Eligible category. Thus, it can be concluded that this Body Anatomy Educational Game is very suitable to be used to facilitate Class IV students of SD Negeri 4 Jungjang in increasing their understanding of Body Anatomy material in Natural Science lessons.
