IMPLEMENTATION OF FINITE STATE AUTOMATA IN VENDING MACHINE SIMULATION CHANGING EMPLOYEES UNIFORM

Abstract

Uniforms as a form of employee discipline, where some companies are engaged in the food sector that prioritize cleanliness, both from the work environment and from every employee who works for the company. The application of uniforms in the PT Yumindo work environment is a mandatory requirement for employees who work at each outlet, production section, and warehouse section. PT Yumindo provides uniform facilities in the form of clothes, hats and masks to be used at work, where each uniform has a change period or a change period of three months, where every employee who has passed the change period is required to request a uniform replacement. The procedure for requesting uniform replacement which has been running so far is still done manually. Uniform requests are still done manually, namely by filling out a form and then sending it via email, often data is missed, and a time-consuming process because it has to check data manually, and errors often occur, therefore an employee uniform change system was created to make it easier for companies to collect employee uniforms, and make it easier for employees to get new uniforms. This study intends to create the concept of a Finite State Automata (FSA) Non-deterministic Finite Automata (NFA) model in a Vending Machine (VM) simulation that provides uniforms in the form of clothes, hats, and masks by utilizing a RFID(RFID) system. In this study, a VM is implemented which can serve employees to get new uniforms and can be automatically registered directly by the company. The research methods applied in the application of FSA to the VM employee uniform changes include FSA VM employee uniforms, employee uniform VM system design, employee uniform VM design. Based on the design of the FSA VM, it can be concluded that the use of the FSA Non-deterministic Finite Automata (NFA) model can be used in making VMs for changing employee uniforms and with the VM this employee uniform can make it easier for employees to get new uniforms.
